A Whiff Of Blood... Is All I Need... To Go Crazy... And Feel Like I'm Freed...
Blindeye trotted over to the blood lake, feeling no fear that she would fall in. Her heat-sense sight was light blue where the lake was, so she knew it was cold and was water. Her eyes stared blankly at it, not seeing any of the lake's crimson hues. Blindeye stooped her head for a drink, her tongue lapping at the red.
I Hug Myself In Fright... And Shut My Eyes Tight.. But Nightmares Turn To Reality.... No More Has This Any Frivolity...
The scars across her face shone brightly in the cold sun as she raised her head. Water fell from her red muzzle and some stuck to what was left of her whiskers. It was so cold here, she shivered a little, shaking some of the snow that was stuck to her fur flying away. She layed down, her ears pricked and her blind eyes scanning the area for body heat.
Now Hell... Has Been Brough To Earth... And Chaos Is Wrought... Like Fire In A Hearth...
She layed her pale muzzle down in the bitter snow, her thick pelt keeping her warm and cozy.. But then, a crunching noise... Someone approaching?

Shadefang dragged a large elk behind him through the snow, staining it red from the blood of the elk he had taken down. He was thirsty and needed a good sip of water after his long chase with the stubborn elk, he carefully made his way down the slope to the snowy bank of the red water, lapping at the shore. He halted and saw his leader on the oppisite bank. He called, "Hello Blindeye!" He had nothing more to say he outstretched his toungue and dragged it through the red water and gulped it down his throat. He flicked his tail and brought his head back up, gaping his jaws wide to reveal a yawn.

Blindeye heard Shadefang's voice call out to her, and her head flipped towards his voice. She saw through her heat-sense a red figure of a wolf and a pinkish body of what looked to be an elk from the shape near the light blue water. She started towards him slowly.
Once in front of him, she reached out her scarred muzzle to find his face. Her nose brushed his forehead, her muzzle withdrew, and her mouth opened. "Greetings, Shadowfang." Her voice greeted softly with false innocence. "How are you?"
She took a chunk of meat from the elk with a swift, unpredictable movement. She was Leader of Fallen Tribe, so naturally she ate first from a big prey. Downing it quickly with a content gulp, she trotted away to the hole her warm pelt burned through the snow and layed back down.

"I am okay." He said, "I found a group of about fifteen of these elk on the alpine ridge a bit north of here, I caught one, they are quite fast." he said looking down at his prey as Blindeye took a bite. He then ripped off some of the bloody flesh from the shoulder of the large, lean elk. He licked his chops and ripped off a bit more hungrily. He then felt the urge to slurp down more water he craned his neck and lapped at the icy cool, crimson depths with his ruby red toungue.

"Mm." Blindeye nodded. "Fifteen..." She sighed dreamily, her voice as smooth as silk. Suddenly her head shot towards Shadefang's red figure. "Which way were they headed?" She commanded of him, her timbre sharp and rigid. The tribe could use some prey in the food storage, and Elk would do ever so nicely.
"Shadefang!" She snarled sharply, all smoothness gone, at his indignant wolfing down of the elk. "Answer what I ask of you.. And save some of the elk for the long winter days ahead, or any prey-scarce." She ordered loudly, her lava fur bristling.

"Take it easy, I know where they were, were on an ISLAND we can find them, I saw them head Northwest, through the deep-snow areas. They were sort of weak and deprived of grass, so it will be pretty easy to get some prey-storage." He flicked the tip of his dark-gray tail irratibly and licked his chops one last time, wishing he could eat a bit more of the elk. He looked up at his leader, ready for his next order.

Blindeye twitched her tail warningly for any cheek he may hold in his tone. "Yes, they may be as weak as water but Elk are crafty. There are mosses under the snow, and that is what they feed on during deprivations of grass." She paused for a second, deep in thought, then gave her next order. "Take the elk," she began, nudging it scornfully with her nose. "to camp in the storage den. I am going to my den, there are matters I must consider." She turned around to leave, but stopped and added swiftly, "And, if another bite of that elk is gone when I check..." she shook her head and "tsk, tsk, tsk"d Shadefang and started off towards her den.

He grunted as he dragged the bloody elk through the snow towards camp. He felt like clawing her ears off for treating him likr a foolidh pup, but Shadefang suppressed those actions for he didn't want to be sent into exile. He padded over the ridge and glanced over the burnt trees and lava. He didn't have to worry abut frost-bitten paws anymore he was now close to the nice, warm camp. His dark lips curled in delight andhe padded up into the crater, and his sooty grey fur was gone as well.
